Parismont.com - The Paris tourist attractions that aren’t worth a visit

Do NOT avoid this attraction. I went last year in mid July, in the heat, in the crowds and it was still an amazing experience. Apart from anything else the building is really quite beautiful and worth seeing. The crowds are nowhere near as bad as described apart from when you see the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, but it was worth it, I was still impressed by the Mona Lisa because it is a beautiful painting and I knew what to expect. Go and see the most famous pieces, but don’t over do it unless you’re really keen on your art. Get your fill of the beautiful works of art then go and visit another attraction but do not avoid this place. You can always visit again and see some of the other rooms - if you’re under 25 then it’s free anyway.

I’m visiting Paris again in a few days, and I’ve been shocked by the advice given on most of the attractions. And before anyone reminds me that is this only for people on short breaks, I have only ever been on short breaks to Paris. I can’t help feeling that the writer has missed the point and the sentiment of several attractions.
