Comments on: Moulin Rouge

The Moulin Rouge is probably the LEAST favorite thing we did in Paris. I don't even know how to begin to describe how bad it was. The area was dirty and sketchy. They had people waiting in line out in the cold weather in the rain. They were disorganized. The show decided to start when half the people are still outside. Checking in your coats was mandatory with a FEE. Cameras were taken away from people who had them out in the open as they went down the line to take your coat away (we're all grown adults, if they say no pictures then that's that, unless you break their rule, but they take your cameras away with your precious pictures in them eventhough you haven't broken any rules). The stage was so tiny in which wasn't proportionized to the amount of dancers they had. The dancing (especially the guys) was cheesy and were NOT SYNCHRONIZED. The topless dancers, nothing exciting there. They were no bigger than a flea bite. Other than when our waiter dropped off our bottle of champagne, we didn't see him again after that and of course, the champagne wasn't great. The place itself looked like the inside of a 'traveling circus' going from one town to the other. It was NOT very glamourous. I guess having to have seen a few Las Vegas shows, we've been spoiled to good entertainment. The only nice things I can say about Moulin Rouge are the beautiful costumes and the in-between acts. They were funny. Other than that, my husband and I were very disappointed and would NOT recommend your hard earned money for this.

Hi all does anybody know where you can get cheap moulin rouge tickets. Heading over for a mates birthday and its all she wants to go see however as im paying for hers and on a really tight budget now thanks 2 hotels need to find out the cheap websites for it. Thanks - and is it really that bad?

My husband and I visited Paris twice and we did walk past the Moulin Rouge just to say we saw it and walked by. No desire to visit within, just took a picture of the street and outside.
